A reliable fast-casual Mexican stop with late-night service.
Type: Fast food Mexican and Tex-Mex chain
Headquarters: Ruby Springs
Tier: The universe's dominant fast food Mexican brand. Burritos, tacos, bowls, and nachos at accessible price points with quick service.
Cantina is the go-to for fast Mexican food across the universe. The menu is built around customizable burritos, tacos, and rice bowls with a rotating seasonal item that gets talked about. Strong lunch and late-night traffic. Ruby Springs is where the brand originated, tied to the city's proximity to open country and a culture that gravitates toward big flavors and casual eating. It scaled nationally from there without losing the feel of the original concept.
City Presence: All six domestic cities. No international presence.
